Thomas Ledford Hall, 78, went to be with the Lord on November 9, 2016.

Tom was born to Travis L. and Nell Allen Hall on January 3, 1938 in Yadkin County. He graduated from East Bend High School in 1956. That fall he went to work for RJR where he retired with 33 years of service.

He married his love, Wanda Leigh Poindexter on June 3, 1960. Tom was a member of East Bend Baptist Church. Both Wanda and Tom loved to travel and went many places together, such as Europe, Hawaii, and Mexico.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents Travis L. and Nell Allen Hall, 2 brothers-in-law Gene Dull and J L Poindexter.

Tom is survived by his loving wife, Wanda, of the home, daughter Jennifer Lynn (Jenny) of the home, daughter Karen Michelle of Butner, NC, sister Betty Poindexter of Winston-Salem, nephew Scott Poindexter and family, Will Poindexter and niece Beth Ratledge and family, sister-in-law Ann Dull of Yadkinville.

A Memorial service will be held at 3 PM on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at East Bend Baptist Church with Pastor Allen Boggs officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

The family would like to thank everyone for all the love and attention Tom received by the church family, EMS, Chatham Hospital doctors and nurses, and the staff at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.
