Mrs. Bettie Rucker Paige, age 84 passed away on October 16, 2016 at Trinity Elms Assisted Living in Clemmons. Mrs. Paige was born December 27, 1931 in Durham County, North Carolina, to the late Ralph and Elsie Chapman Rucker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jack Meryl Paige.

Those left to cherish her memory are her five daughters:  Jackie E. Paige of King, Paula P. Johnson and husband Ronnie of Germanton, Beverly P. Nelson and husband Ken of Tobaccoville, Cheryl P. Boggs and husband Ronnie of Mocksville, and Pamela Nesbit and husband Parks of Salisbury; a sister Barbara Newman of Murfreesboro, TN; eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

At the family’s request, services for Mrs. Paige will be private. Flowers will be accepted or memorials can be made to hospice.
