Nancy Josephine Shrewsbury, age 71 left this world Thursday February 9, 2017.

She was born on February 27, 1945 to the late Gennie Franklin and John Irvin Franklin.

Nancy was a loving wife and mother.  She loved her flower garden and crocheting but most of all she loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two children Candy and Rex Cline and a great-grandchild Zyonicha Myers.

She is survived by her loving husband John Shrewsbury; four daughters Surrendar (Roger) Thompson of Hamptonville, Rebecca (Wayne) Salas of Yadkinville, Sherry (Dwayne) Ogburn of Pinnacle, and Tesheka (Lupe) Cline of Reidsville; one son Wayne (Joyce) Cline of East Bend; eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A funeral service for Nancy will be held at 3 pm on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Huff Funeral Home in East Bend with the Pastor Zack King officiating. Burial will follow in Yadkinville Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6pm-8pm at Huff Funeral Home.
