My fondest memories of Aunt Laverne are of her sweet, kindhearted, yet feisty personality. She possessed great humor and could always get the best of Uncle Wardell, even though he thought he had the upper hand. They were truly created to walk life's journey together! Aunt Laverne loved her Lord, her family and extended family above all else. She not only is at peace, but now can recall every precious moment of her life with family and friends. My love and prayers for comfort will be with you all during this difficult time ... Love, Elaine

You will forever remain in my heart. You always treated me as a daughter. . . from the time I was a little girl. . . and never let me forget how much I was loved. The only comfort I find is knowing that you are walking the streets of gold with Ma and Daddy. Please give them a big hug for me! My heart goes out to Uncle Wardell, Kathy, Teresa, Ken. . . as well as other family members and friends. I am so sorry for your tremendous loss. Aunt Laverne will live on through the wonderful memories she left behind.
