I knew Dennis as he was in my high school class 1968 however I had reconnected with him after 40 years over Facebook and I found him to be a thoughtful man who gave me a lot of good advice I'm dealing with my serious illness in the last few years. I also knew him because is Linda Brown Wilson said" those of us growing up in town got to know each other in a way that those who grew up in the country did not."
