Yvonne Mae Forbes

Mrs. Yvonne Mae Forbes, age 85, of East Bend, passed away on Wednesday May 22, 2024 at her residence.

Mrs. Forbes was born on May 1, 1939 in Mercer County Pennsylvania to the late Wade Lightner and Mabel Hart Lightner.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her beloved husband John Forbes; two brothers Harry Lightner and Jim Lightner; four sisters Helen Wireman, Esther Klein, Martha Shipton, and Dorothy Beatty; a grandchild Crystal Watterson; and a great -grandchild Angel Porterfield.

Those left to cherish her memory are three daughters Marjorie (Jeffery) Sutton of East Bend, Luann (John) Gottula of Mercer, PA, and Teresa Caldwell of Sharon, PA; one sister Joann Bancroft of Florida; six grandchildren Jonathan (Christy) Sutton, Michael (Kelly) Sutton, Jennifer Thompson, Jason Thompson, Greg Watterson, and Travis Richards; fifteen great-grandchildren; and six great great-grandchildren.

A memorial service for Mrs. Forbes will be held at a later time.
