Young Iga Jester

Young Iga "Tinker" Jester, age 77, of Winston Salem, passed away on Thursday October 15, 2025.

Mr. Jester was born on September 22, 1948 in Yadkin County to the late Iga Jester and Rosie Hutchens Brown.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by 15 brothers and sisters, a step-daughter Dixie Spillman, and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Jester was in the Unites States Army and proudly served his country in Vietnam and was a military police officer in Fort Hood, Texas.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Traci Jester of the home; a son Wesley Jester of Winston Salem; two step-daughters Shelby Pendleton of Winston Salem and April (Stephon Shamblin) Pendleton of Germanton; a sister Lilie Hutchens of East Bend; one grandson Waylon Jester of Asheboro; 8 step-grandchildren Jaxon, Skylar, Royal, Kinley, Tokyn, Harlee, Jacob, and Leila; and a special friend Alice Wooten.

The family will receive friends on Friday October 24, 2025 from 4pm-6pm at Huff Funeral Home.  A private celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
