Mr. Wesley Franklin Edwards, age 77, of Mount Airy, passed away on Sunday August 24, 2025 at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.

Mr. Edwards was born on January 29, 1948 in Surry County to the late James Edwards and Gertrude McMickle Edwards.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 56 years Connie Flippin Edwards of the home; a daughter Annette (James) Lamoreaux of Holly Springs; a sister Jackie Fairbarns of Fairfax, VA; three grandchildren Ashlee Hooker, Jessie (Michael Reynolds) Hooker, and Abby (Hope) Hooker; and two great-grandchildren Dominic Wood and Brayden Reynolds.
