Wardell Jordan

Mr. Wardell Jordan, age 84, of East Bend, transitioned from earth to his heavenly home on Tuesday February 23, 2021

Mr. Jordan was born on September 13, 1936 in Roxboro, NC to the late Edward Jordan and Mary Briggs Jordan.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his first wife Laverne.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Linda of the home; one son Ken (Shirlene) Jordan of Tybee Island, Georgia; two daughters Kathy (Matthew) Manzo of Aberdeen and Teresa (Jody) Muncus of Yadkinville; two sisters Mary Lou Moore (Mack Lee) and Janie Sue Perkins both of Roxboro; six grandchildren Maria Hill, Emily Collins, Meagan Terry, Evan Jordan, Ksenia Manzo, and Andy Muncus; five great-grandchildren Mason Collins, Alexis Collins, Skylar Collins, Jordan Hill, and Raine Jordan; and countless friends.

A celebration of life service for Mr. Jordan will be held on Friday February 26, 2021 at 1pm at Shallowford Baptist Church with Terry Lane and Steve Jordan officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Mr. Jordan will lie in state on Thursday February 25, 2021 at Huff Funeral Home from 2pm-7pm.
