Mrs. Sylvia Denise Hicks Gardner, age 52, of Roaring River, passed away on Thursday March 12, 2020.

Mrs. Gardner was born in Bluefield, WV on February 1, 1968 to the late Perry Hicks and Shirley Rose.

Those left to cherish her memory are a daughter Rachel Hicks of Roaring River; a son Eric Hicks of Roaring River; two brothers Perry Hicks of WV and Jody Hicks of Wilkesboro; and four grandchildren.

The family has requested for donations to be made to Huff Funeral Home (336-699-3131) Po Box 237 East Bend, NC 27018 to help offset final expenses.
