I am very sorry about the loss you all have experienced. Susan will surely be missed. When I think about her, I think about her laugh and her smile. I pray that God will comfort you all as only He can during this time and in the days ahead.

I have know this family for longer than Susan's lifetime, enjoyed working with her Dad in the 1950's visiting
with Eva Miller Martin Gough's father, Susan's Grandfather Will Miller's family off or Siloam Road. She grew
up with my younger sister who went by Huff Funeral Home to sign the register to find it lock down and
closed Saturday afternoon.
We are so sorry for the loss of Susan and for the effect the current pandemic is having on honoring the
ones we have lost over the past few months.  We would liked to have had a meal in her honor in
the Mt. Pleasant Church Fellowship Hall after the service.

My heart was truly broken to hear the news of Susan’s passing. I was so blessed to have this wonderful women in my life as a dear friend from day 1 when we met at RJR. Susan was such a bright light in my darkest days and could always cheer me up with her laughter. I can honestly say she was the one friend that I never had a disagreement or cross word with. Every moment spent with this dear friend was a positive and true blessing. She would make me laugh, I would make her laugh and we would go on with our day but always looking forward to that next hour long lunch break. I missed her so when she retired but was also happy for her to begin the next adventure in her life. We met for dinner when possible and texted often in anticipation of our next catching up session. We had just recently been making plans to get together as soon as all this craziness was over and could hardly wait. Susan had sent me happy birthday wishes on 12/21 and a week later she was gone. I still can’t believe it and I already miss her so much. To the children, she loved you so and was nothing but proud of each of you. She always started our conversations talking about what was up with the kids. She loved all her family deeply. Susan was truly the most beautiful, happy, funny and uplifting spirit I have ever known. Soar high my friend until we meet again. I will hold your memory and your kindness in my heart forever.

So sorry to hear of Susan’s passing. She is gone too soon. Susan and I worked together at RJR. She was always willing to dig into any problem and deliver a solution when it was most needed. I pray for her family and know that her smiling face and friendship will be missed. May God bless.
