Shawn Michael Ward

Westfield – Shawn Michael Ward, 25, of Westfield NC, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 18, 2020, and is now with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Shawn was born on October 20, 1995 in Winston Salem, NC. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Hamptonville, NC and recently attended Gospel Baptist Church in Pinnacle, NC.

Shawn was preceded in death by his father Tommy Ward; Grandpa Ralph Neal.

Left to cherish his memory is his Grandmother Jettie Neal; Mother, Shirley Pardue; wife Desirea Ward, daughter Dixie Ward; Son Allen Ward; Sister Tiffany Bales and husband Jerry and their 3 children; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Shawn was a member of Lone Hickory Volunteer Fire Dept. Everyone that knew him, knew of an honest, humble, friendly guy. He was very much loved by all. He had a great sense of humor, loved the races and spending time with his family.

A funeral service for Shawn will be held on Friday January 1, 2021 at 2pm at Huff Funeral Home with Rev. Burt Mathis officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Hamptonville.  Shawn will lie in state from 10am-2pm on Friday at Huff Funeral Home.
