Sandra "Sissy" Norman

Sandra "Sissy" Norman, age 58, of East Bend went home to be with the Lord on March 27, 2021.

Sissy was born in Yadkin County on December 9, 1962 to Betty Hutchens Thompson and the late Donald C. Johnson.

Sissy was a graduate of Forbush High School, then began a long Successful career as a cosmetologist.  She began her career at Carson & Company Salon, then moved forward to open her own business in East Bend. She loved making other people feel beautiful. She had a contagious laughter and found beauty in the life around her. Sissy was authentic and always full of joy. She left a positive impression on every soul that was lucky enough to know her.

Sissy was the mother of William Mason Norman and he was the light of her life.  In addition to her father, sissy was also preceded in death by Gennett and J.M. Murphy.  Sissy is survived by her son William Mason Norman; mother Betty Thompson; brothers Ravon "Cooter" Johnson and Junior (Laura) Thompson; as well as other extended family and many friends.

A funeral service for Sissy will be held on Thursday April 1, 2021 at 2pm at Huff Funeral Home with Junior Thompson officiating.  Burial will follow in the Johnson Family Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Thursday 1pm-2pm prior to the service at Huff Funeral Home.
