Ruth Collins Obituary
Mrs. Ruth Elizabeth Collins, age 85 of Boonville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 5th 2023 at Chatham Nursing & Rehab in Elkin.
Mrs. Collins was born on May 3, 1938 in Yadkin County to the late Zenith & Sally Moss.
Those left to cherish her memory include her two sons, Michael Collins & wife, Lesa of Port Orange, FL & Steven Collins of Philadelphia, PA; one brother, Robert (Dorothy) Moss of Fall Creek, one sister, Kathleen (Tommy) Moxley of Winston-Salem; two grandchildren, Casey Collins & Zachary Collins & two great-grandchildren, Blayke Collins & Roxy Kope.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Collins.
Funeral services for Mrs. Collins will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, July 8th at Huff Funeral Home, with visitation being held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Copeland Baptist Church in Dobson.
