Robert Newman

Robert Newman, age 61, of pilot Mountain, passed away on Saturday January 31, 2026.

Mr. Newman was born on August 14, 1964 in Forsyth County to the late Robert Newman Jr. and Margaret Atkins Queen.

Those left to cherish his memory area daughter Sandra (Donnie) Newman; two sons Robbie (Lakin) Newman and Wayne (Becca) Newman; a step daughter Jessica Bottoms; grandchildren Matthew Hill, Levi hill, Makayla Holt, Walter Holt, Bentley Newman, Briella Newman, Bailee Newman, Eddie Newman, Lucy Newman, Mollie Manning, Noah Manning, Joey Childress, and Ethan Childress; and a very good friend Michael Hamilton Jr.

Mr. Newman as a very skilled mechanic and worked many years at Clyde Fulp Exxon.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday February 28, 2026 at 2pm at Friendly Chapel Church with Larry Thomas and Junior Hicks officiating.
