Peter Sherman Phinney

Mr. Peter Sherman Phinney, age 58, passed away on Monday January 20, 2025.

Mr. Phinney was born on May 12, 1966 in Litchfield County, Connecticut to the late Russell Phinney and Edna Gardner Phinney. He loved spending his spare time with his grandchildren as they were the world to him. He also really enjoyed hunting and working on cars.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister Wendy Ciuffetilli; a step-daughter Rebecca Shaw Baker; and long time partner Kay Shore..

Those left to cherish his memory are a sister Karen (John) Kincaid of Fort Myers, Florida; a brother Kevin (Stacy) Phinney of Abbeville, Alabama; two grandchildren Makenzie Baker and Corbin Baker; a step son-in-law Lance Baker; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.

The family will have a celebration of life service at a later time.
