Peggy (Brown) Snow

EAST BEND 9/18/1937-1/29/2018 – Mrs. Peggy Brown Snow, 80, of Friendship Circle, passed away on January 29, 2018, at the home of her beloved son and daughter-in-law. Mrs. Snow was born in Yadkin County on September 18, 1937 to the late Melvin Dallas Brown and Faye Pendry Brown. She was retired from the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School System after 30 years of service, 16 years at the Administrative Office and 14 years at North Forsyth High School. After retirement, she was a Yadkin County Democratic Prescient Chairperson at North Fall Creek and served on the Yadkin County Democratic Executive Committee as Treasurer. She enjoyed traveling with her friends of the Yadkin County Queens Club and working in her flowers and yard. Her most treasured time was spent with her family. She attended Friendship Baptist Church in East Bend.
Mrs. Snow was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 30 years, Jack Edward Snow on July 2, 1998, and brother Tony Melvin Brown and his wife and her dear friend Ilene Brown of Kernersville.
Surviving are one son, Andrew Scott Snow and his wife whom she loved like a daughter, Alisha Snow of Pfafftown, treasured granddaughters Savannah Faye Snow, Hartley Rayne Brendle, Ansley Bliss Snow, and Remy Jax Snow of Pfafftown, special friend Ken Alley and several special nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends and family on Friday, February 2, from 7-9 PM at Huff Funeral Home in East Bend.

Funeral Services will be held at Friendship Baptist Church in East Bend, NC on Saturday, February 3, with a special lie in state beginning at 1 PM and the funeral service beginning at 2 PM, followed by burial and graveside service immediately after the service by Rev. Vann Harrell and Rev. Brian Poindexter.
