Paul Leslie Campbell

Paul Leslie Campbell, age 66, left this earth and arrived in heaven on Friday, May 5, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.  He was born April 8, 1957, to the late Earl and Ruby Campbell.

Paul was a graduate of Lebanon High School, Southwest Virginia Community College, and Virginia Tech.  He was Senior Engineer at Alpha Met Resources.  As a lifelong member of Cleveland Baptist Church, he served faithfully in various positions.  He was an avid sportsman and we believe he has already bagged a 10 point buck and several squirrels in heaven with his Dad and extended family.

Paul was preceded in death by his loving parents, Earl and Ruby Campbell, and grandmother, Blanche (Maw) Campbell.

Survivors include his loving wife of 39 years, Patricia Campbell; daughters, Kelly and Jodi Campbell; granddaughter, Bryce LeslieAnn Campbell;  brother, Garry Campbell (wife Carol Anne); sister, Robin Campbell; special sister-in-law, Rose Stinson (husband Randy); nephews, Cody and Caleb Stinson, and families; niece, Nicole Price (whom he loved as a daughter) and family; special cousins, Rick and Mark Hackney (whom he loved as brothers) and families; brother-in-law, Randall Warner; sister-in-law, Tonuia Kiser and family; plus a host of beloved cousins, extended family, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in memory of Paul, to Cleveland Baptist Church, PO Box 313, Cleveland, VA, 24225.

The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of Wake Forest Baptist Hospital for the exceptional care they provided.
