Nancy Johnson Strader

Mrs. Nancy Johnson Strader, age 87, of Kernersville, passed away at Summerstone Health and Rehab.

Mrs. Strader was born on October 4, 1933 in Yadkin county to the late Archie Johnson and Lou Poindexter Johnson.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her beloved husband James Strader; a daughter Phyllis Strader; and a brother Richard Gray Johnson Sr.

Those left to cherish her memory are four nephews Richard Gray Johnson Jr. and wife Bonita of Greensboro, Robin Johnson of Greensboro, Gary Johnson of Kernersville, and Shawn Johnson of Hall River; a sister-in-law Norma Johnson of Kernersville and her children Lisa (Mark) Otey and Rob (Myline) Kemsch; and four first cousins Hilda and Gilda Johnson, Mary Sue Johnson, and Hiram Johnson Jr.

A graveside service for Mrs. Strader will be held on Thursday January 21, 2021 at 2pm  East Bend Baptist Church Cemetery with her nephew Robin Johnson officiating.
