Michelle Lynn Griffin

Michelle Lynn Griffin, age 52, of Boonville, passed away on Friday July 4, 2025.

Michelle was born on February 12, 1973 in Beckley, West Virginia to Johnny Fortner and Kathryn Tyree Kennedy.

She was preceded in death by her mother Kathryn Kennedy; a brother Nathaniel Kennedy; and her "2nd mom" Mary.

Those left to cherish her memory are three daughters Montana (Heather) Griffin of Ohio, Brianna (Abbagail) Griffin of Boonville, and Kaelin Thompson of Boonville; two brothers James Fortner and Brian Fortner both of West Virginia; and a sister Jessica (Matthew) Windfelder of East Bend.

A time of remembrance to celebrate the life of Michelle will be held on Wednesday July 9, 2025 from 6pm-8pm at huff Funeral Home.  Online condolences may be made to www.hufffuneralhome.com.
