Marvin Hobson

Mr. Marvin Hobson, age 80, of East Bend, passed away on Wednesday October 2, 2019 at Yadkin Nursing Center.

Mr. Hobson was born on December 31, 1938 in Yadkin County to the late Charles Hobson and Winnie Ward Hobson.

Those left to cherish his memory are two sons Danny Hobson and David Hobson both of East Bend; one daughter Elizabeth Hobson Sale and husband Aaron of Garner; two brothers Charlie Hobson and wife Judy of Badin lake and Wiliam "Bill" Hobson and wife Peggy of Asheville; one grandchild Charles Sale; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Mr. Hobson will be held on Sunday October 6, 2019 at 2pm at huff Funeral Home with the Pastor Marty Wood officiating.  Burial with full military honors my VFW Post 10346 will follow in East Bend Friends Cemetery.  The family will recieve friends from 1pm-2pm prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice or to the donor's choice.
