Marlene (Dezern) Taylor

Mrs. Marlene Dezern Taylor, 88, of East Bend, passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Willowbrook Rehabilitation and Care Center.

Mrs. Taylor was born on April 1, 1933 in Yadkin County to the late Charlie Arvil and Jessie Scott Dezern.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Clyde Taylor.

Those left to cherish her memory are: son Barry Taylor of East Bend; daughters Gayle Taylor of King and Katrina Choplin of Boonville; brother Larry Dezern of Hermitage, TN; sisters Peggy Jumper and Nell Burnette; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

A graveside service for Mrs. Taylor will be held at 3 pm on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at Union Hill Chapel and Cemetery with Pastor Bobby Choplin officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at Huff Funeral Home.
