Margie Johnson

Ms. Margie Colleen Johnson, age 80, of East Bend, passed away peacefully in the early hours of Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem.

Margie was born on February 13, 1945, in Forsyth County to the late Clyde Johnson and Marie Caudill Johnson. She dedicated many years of her life to her career as an accountant, where she was known for her diligence, precision, and strong work ethic.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Jennifer Johnson; her brother, Donnie Johnson; her grandchildren, Misty (Brandon) Bodsford, Ashley (Tommy) Bennett, and Waylen Gregory; and her great-grandchildren, Walker Jester, Marley Lindsey, Makenna Bennett, and Taylor Bennett.

In addition to her parents, Margie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward Johnson; her daughter, Kristy Conway; and her son, Eddie Johnson.
