Lilly Joyce Marler

Mrs. Lilly Joyce Marler, age 64, of East Bend, passed away on Wednesday May 17, 2023 at her home.

Mrs. Marler was born on September 10, 1958 in Davie County to the late Melvin Hawks and Mary Childress Hawks.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her beloved husband Craig Marler.

Those left to cherish her memory are a son Dustin "Rush" (Victoria Campbell) Marler of East Bend; three brothers Jack (Roxanne) Hawks of Winston Salem, Wayne (Annette) Hawks of Statesville, and Keith (Lisa) Hawks of Yadkinville; two sisters Ann (Bobby) Jones on Lincolnton and Katie (Ronald) Moore of Statesville; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Mrs. Marler will be held on Tuesday May 23, 2023 at 2pm at Huff Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Gospel Way Baptist Church Cemetery in Yadkinville.  The family will receive friends on Monday May 22, 2023 from 6pm-8pm at Huff Funeral Home.
