Jaynie Leigh Zachary

Mrs. Jaynie Leigh Johnson Zachary, age 80, of East Bend, passed away on August 25, 2024 at SECU Hospice Care Center of Yadkin.

Mrs. Zachary was born on October 1, 1943 in the Union Hill community of East Bend to Robert and Nora Taylor Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Gerald Zachary; a brother Howard Taylor; and a special nephew Mark Johnson, who was like a son to her.

Those left to cherish her memory are a daughter Shannon (Keith) Adams and a granddaughter Ava Beth Adams both of Yadkinville; a brother Jim (Nancy) Johnson of East Bend; and her life long best friend, who was like a sister, Brenda Melton of Boonville.

A special thank you to all the facilities, friends, and neighbors who have helped the family.  There will be no formal services.
