Janalou Bowman Obituary

Mrs. Janalou Bowman, age 59, of East Bend, passed away on Friday October 14, 2022 at Forsyth Medical Center.

Mrs. Bowman was born on November 3, 1962, in Yadkin County, to James Haliburton and Barbara Ward Haliburton.

Janalou did many wonderful things in her life. She was served as president of the Yadkin Arts Council, worked as a substitute teacher in Yadkin County, was a great hair stylist, and helped start the Small Town Christmas in East Bend just to name a few.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Mark Bowman, of the home; one daughter Danielle (Ellington) Payne of East Bend; one step-daughter Kelly (Kenneth) Murphy of Yadkinville; two sisters Laura (Mark) Snyder of California and Lee Ann Parker of East Bend; and four grandchildren MacKenzie Hauser, Ellie Rose Payne, Oliver Mark Payne, and Maddox Payne.

A small graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, October 23rd at Union Hill Methodist Church in East Bend.
