James Rucker Obituary

Mr. James "Jimmy" Rucker, age 58, of East Bend, passed away at on Sunday March 22, 2020 at his home.

Mr. Rucker was born on June 21, 1961 in Forsyth County to Mike Rucker and Joann Edwards Rucker.

Mr. Rucker was preceded in death by his father Mick Rucker; his first wife Diane; two sisters Lisa and Rhonda; one brother Kevin; and a step son Rick.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Debbie Rucker of the home; one son Kyle Schaaf also of the home; two daughters Heather (Jamie Oliver) Rucker and Katie Shores both of East Bend; one brother Randy (Teresa) Rucker of East Bend; four sisters Vickie (David) Casanova of East Bend, Angela (Johnny) Tucker of East Bend; Loretta (Terry) White of Winston Salem, and Dawn (Buck) Byers of Germanton; seven grandchildren Brayden, Skylare, Karlee, Mahlon, Charles, Rebecca, and Riley; and two sister in laws Lisa Rucker and Elaine Cates.

Due to the COVID19 restrictions, the funeral service for Mr. Rucker will be private. He will lie in state at Huff Funeral Home on Wednesday March 25, 2020 from 10am-6pm. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorials be made to Huff Funeral Home PO Box 237 East Bend, NC 27018 to help offset final expenses.
