James Fletcher

Mr. James Curtis Fletcher, age 71, of Tobaccoville, passed away on Monday May 5, 2025 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.

Mr. Fletcher was born on September 8, 1953 in Yadkin County to the late Paul Fletcher and Adelene Hutchens Fletcher.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers Waymoth, John, Jerry, Gary, Donnie, Richard, and Melvin.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Barbara "Bobbie" Fletcher of the home; two daughters Jamie (Keith) Engle of Iowa and Kim (Hans) Krueger of Wisconsin; a brother Ronnie Fletcher of East Bend; a sister Nancy Fletcher of East Bend; and three grandchildren Isabella Engle, Adelene Krueger, and Emily Krueger.

Mr. Fletcher had a heart of gold and loved his family, neighbors, and friends.  Countless times he took on the caregiver role for those he loved!  He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, mowing, and cooking.  He will be dearly missed by those that knew him!

A celebration of life service will be held on Friday May 9, 2025 at 6pm at Huff Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from 5pm-6pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
