Irmgard (Fleischhaker) Boyens

Irmgard Fleischhaker Boyens, age 98 of King, NC, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at Priddy Manor Assisted Living. She had a beautiful soul and was an amazing Oma and Omi to her family.

Mrs. Boyens was born on April 2, 1924 in Husum, Germany.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Karl Boyens, two brothers, one sister & her daughter, Monika Brackett.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Chris (Renee) Boyens; her grandchildren, Kurt Lynch (Debbie) , Kimberly (Michael) Thompson, Christopher (Megan Floyd) Boyens & Tiffany Boyens.  She also leaves behind great-grandchildren, Kiersten (Ernesto) Palacios & Devin Thompson; as well as six great-great grandchildren, Jasmine, Jacob, Ariana, Jaxon, Sophia & Maya.

She will be greatly missed by her family.  We will always remember the special relationship that she had with Ginger, the family dog.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Priddy Manor Assisted Living & the staff of Mountain Valley Hospice for the wonderful care that they showed for Mrs. Boyens.

No services have been planned at this time. In lieu of flowers make a donation to Mountain Valley Hospice of Mt. Airy.
