Georgia Ann Burgess

Mrs. Georgia Ann Burgess, age 75, of East Bend, passed away on Saturday March 11, 2023.

Mrs. Burgess was born on July 24, 1947 in Mercer County West Virginia to the late Robert Dillman and Ramona Caldwell.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her beloved husband James Burgess and a daughter  Tamara Parks.

Those left to cherish her memory are a son James Burgess of Stuart, VA; a daughter Mary Kathryn Burgess of Claudeville, VA; eleven grandchildren Lavonia Parks, Robby Burgess, Ashley Parks, GC Parks, Shannon (Justin) Leonard, Selena Parks, Tyler Parks, Skye Ayers, Joshua Ayers, Piper Burgess, and Leandra Ayers; and great-grandchildren Camden Snow, Greyson Leonard, Nevaeh Leonard, and Xena Parks.

A funeral service for Mrs. Burgess will be held on Thursday March 16, 2023 at 2pm at Grapevine Baptist Church in Lewisville with the Pastor Ronnie Comer officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1pm-2pm prior to the service at the church.
