Geneva M Lane

Mrs. Geneva M. Lane "Tootsie", age 80, of East Bend passed away peacefully at her daughter's home on Thursday November 4, 2021.

Mrs. Lane was born on October 21, 1941 in Surry County to the late Lewis Moser and Meadie Beane Moser.

She was the nanny to everyone she met and had a love for all children.

Those left to cherish her memory are two sons Andy (Monica) Lane and Allen (Glenda) Lane; two daughters Terri (Kenneth) Williams and Donna Lane Johnson; one brother Steve (Joanne) Moser; one sister Willie (Ray) Griffin; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A funeral service for Mrs. Lane will be held on Monday November 8, 2021 at 2pm at Huff Funeral Home with Chris Brown officiating.  Burial will follow in the Douglas Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1pm-2pm on Monday prior to the service at Huff Funeral Home.
