Freida (Holbrook) Patterson

Freida Holbrook Patterson, 90, of East Bend, NC, wife of the late Boyd Fletcher Patterson, passed away Friday, September 11, 2020 at the home of her niece Carol and Wayne Long of Clemmons, NC.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 am on Monday, September 14th at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church.

Freida was born May 15, 1930 to Romey and Onie Richardson Holbrook of Traphill, NC.

She was greatly loved and will be missed by her family and church family. She was a member of the Winston-Salem First Seventh Day Adventist Church. She had a passion for Literature Evangelism and freely supported it to win souls to Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers: Fred Holbrook of Clemmons, Jerry Bryan Holbrook of Greensboro, and Roger Holbrook of Kernesville; and two sisters: Vera Starnes of Matthew and Pauline Billings of Traphill.

She is survived by four brothers: Bryce Holbrook of Stanfield, Ronald Holbrook of Granite Falls, Steve and Michael Holbrook both of Traphill.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Winston-Salem First Seventh Day Adventist Church, 4545 Country Club Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27104 or the Second Harvest Food Bank, 3655 Reed St, Winston-Salem, NC 27107.
