Frances Phillips

Mrs. Frances Phillips, age 82, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday June 20, 2025.

Mrs. Phillips was born on October 20, 1942, in Columbus County, NC to the late Luther Reaves and Beatrice Brown Reaves.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 66 years David Phillips; a brother Jimmy Reaves; and three sisters Bonnie Marshall, Becky Price, and Mary Knight.

Those left to cherish her memory are two sons David Ray Phillips Jr. and wife Jennifer and Ricky Allen Phillips and wife Susie both of East Bend; a daughter Kim Purcell-Reid and husband Mike of Salisbury; five grandchildren Jill Renne Phillips, Courtney Carol Phillips, Austin Ray Phillips, Andrew Christian Purcell, and Graham Jacob Purcell; three great-grandchildren Raylee Page, Noah Preslar, and Mary Frances Purcell; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Monday June 23, 2025, at 11am at Shallowford Baptist Church in Lewisville with Terry Lane officiating.  Burial will follow in Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons.  The family will receive friends from 10am-11am on Monday prior to the service at the church.
