Earle Ring

Earle Ring, 92, completed his appointed time on earth on Monday, July 22, 2019 at Universal Healthcare of King, NC.

He entered the world on October 1, 1926 as the eighth child of the late Henry Evan and Sabina Baker Ring.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 65 years, and by his beloved daughter, Virginia (Ginny) Slate of King. He also had seven siblings who left before him; three brothers, Clyde, Claude, and Royce; and four sisters, Treva Hutchens, Ruth Sheffield, Blanche Bean, and Edith Ring. They were a close family so there will be quite a celebration in heaven.

Those left to cherish his memory are his two sons Richard Ring of King, and David Ring of Raleigh; two sisters Judy Davenport of Dallas, Tx, and Hazell Hartman of Clemmons; and one granddaughter Michelle Slate of King.

Earle was a World War II veteran and served on the island of Luzon in the Philippines. He worked most of his adult life at Western Electric and took early retirement after working there over 30 years. Earle and Yvonne traveled extensively after retirement and were able to enjoy a more leisurely life for many years.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at First Baptist of Saura Valley, 3155 YMCA Camp Rd, King, NC 27021 at 3:00 pm with Rev. Paul Norman officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church.
