Dorothy Julia Chandler, 91, of Lewisville, passed away on February 19, 2015.

She was born on January 15, 1924 to the late Robert and Lillian Wolfe.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Chandler was preceded in death by her husband Robert Franklin Chandler.

Those left to cherish her memory are four sons Ray Chandler of Raeford, Larry Chandler and wife Dilly of Kernersville, Wayne Chandler of Florida, Jimmy Chandler of Winston-Salem; four daughters Beverly Blodgett of Lexington, Frances Sink of Lewisville, Joan Chandler of Florida, Jane Chandler of Texas; eight grandchildren Becky Rodriguiz, Shane Chandler, Stephen Blodgett, Kimberly Young, Jennifer Bryant, Leslie McGee, Josh Chandler, Breanna Sink; twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Funeral services for Mrs. Chandler will be at 3pm on Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Southside Baptist Church, Yadkinville with Pastor Billy Seats officiating. Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 pm prior to services on Sunday, February 22, 2015.
