Bonnie Whitaker Obituary

Mrs. Bonnie Marie Whitaker, age 58, of Lowgap, passed away on Tuesday July 26, 2022 at her home.

Mrs. Whitaker was born on January 16, 1964 in Yadkin County to the late Donald Bates and Wavie Bowman.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her beloved husband Jerry Whitaker and a son Jeremiah Whitaker.

Those left to cherish her memory are four daughters Amy (Michael) Imburgia of Lowgap, Stephanie (Robert) McGee of State Road, Amanda (Fransisco) Whitaker of Yadkinville, and Samantha Fisher of Yadkinville; one brother Billy Bates of Dobson; four sisters Becky (Calvin) West of Statesville, Patsy (Dennis) Norman of East Bend, Ann Edwards of Ydkinville, and Media Whitt of Virginia; eighteen grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial service for Mrs. Whitaker will be held at a later date.
