Bonita Davis

Mrs. Bonita Davis, age 75, of East Bend, passed away on Saturday June 18, 2022.

Mrs. Davis was born on September 12, 1946 in Yadkin County to the late Edsel Stanley and Mary Hester Stanley.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her beloved husband Grady Davis; a sister Avis Mae Gordy; and a brother Wayne Stanley.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter Debbie (Harold) Cook of East Bend; two brothers Steven Stanley of Kannapolis and Grady "Bucky" Stanley (Tammy Brown) of East Bend; two sisters Bonnie Cockerham of East Bend and Beverly Ann Oliver of Yadkinville; three grandchildren Cory, Chase, and Somer; six great-grandchildren Brantley, Karter, Chet, Timber, Colby, and Colton; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Mrs. Davis will be held on Wednesday June 22, 2022 at 2pm at Huff Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in East Bend Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1pm-2pm prior to the service at the funeral home.  Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the palliative Care Unit at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem.
