Beverly June Rucker Hyatt, age 63 of Yadkinville, went to be with her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on July 3, 2023. She peacefully passed away at her residence.
She was born on May 29, 1960 in Forsyth County & was the daughter of the late Russell & Annie Rucker.
Beverly was a devout Christian & member of Northwood Baptist Church in Yadkinville. She worked many years at Moravian Cookie Shop, Hanes Hosiery & Walmart in Mocksville. Beverly was a homemaker extraordinaire. Her passion in life was caring for her family. Beverly spent her time painting, writing poems, praising the Lord, serving God, cooking, baking & helping her husband Timmie with their home & projects. There was always something good to eat when you entered her home. Beverly spent many wonderful years traveling, going all over, going to the beach where she & her husband Timmie enjoyed fishing with family at Kure Beach. She also enjoyed traveling to Arkansas visiting the Ozark Mountains to be with her son, Rocky & daughter-in-law, Valarie & spoiling her two grandbabies, Zackary & Miranda, who were her most loved treasures in life. She truly knew how to spread sunshine in the lives of others. She is loved & will be truly missed by many.
Beverly was preceded in death by her father, Russell Rucker & mother, Annie Rucker; father-in-law, Brock A. Hiatt; step-father-in-law, Robert Carter; sister-in-laws, Patricia Logan, Sherry Myers, Cheryl Rucker; & brother-in-laws Ricky Hiatt, Buck Grimes & Bill Quesenberry.
She is survived by her husband, Timmie Lee Hyatt; only child, Rocky Lee Hyatt; daughter-in-law, Valarie Hope Hyatt; two grandchildren, Miranda Grace Hyatt & Zackary Latham Hyatt; one brother, Jackie Rucker; four sisters, Judy Cline, Becky Quesenberry, Sandra (Troy) Key & Darlene (Zachary) King; mother-in-law, Libby Carter; sister-in-law, Sandra (Tony) Farrar; nieces & nephews, Ronnie (Carla) Quesenberry, Russell (Christina) Quesenberry, Diane Long, Robert Cline, Roger (Chasity) Grimes, Randy (Marcia) Grimes, Curtis Rucker, Christina (David) Bray, Emily (Michael) King-Brazier, Jocelyn (Stephen) Chatfield, Ashley (Matt) Weitzel, Spencer Logan, Ricky Hiatt, Jr., Brian Myers & Dale Myers.
The funeral service for Mrs. Hyatt will be held at 11:00am on Friday, July 7th at Northwood Baptist Church in Yadkinville. Pastor Tim Webb will be officiating. Burial will follow the service at the church cemetery. A visitation will be held the night prior to the service, Thursday, July 6th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the funeral home.
