Betty (Matthews) Rockett

Mrs. Betty Matthews Rockett, age 80, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 5, 2018.

She was born on January 4, 1938 in Yadkin County to the late Buford and Levi Matthews.

In addition to her parents and siblings, she was also preceded in death by her beloved husband Bobby Rockett.

Those left to cherish her memory are a daughter Sue (Bill) Buitendorp of Pfafftown; two grandsons Ben Buitendorp of Jacksonville, FL and Sean Buitendorp of Columbia, SC; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Dave (Carol) Rockett and their children. 

A funeral service for Mrs. Rockett will he held on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 11am at Huff Funeral Home with the Rev. Ramon Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Prospect United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice at 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
