Mrs. Artice Bernice Hall, age 94, gained her angel wings on Saturday May 4, 2024.
Mrs. Hall was born on July 31, 1929 in Surry County to the late Lacy Hyatt and Linda Barker Hyatt.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her beloved husband Thurmond Hall Sr; a daughter Linda Parks; a sister Josephine Brown; and two brothers Jim Hyatt and Wayne Hyatt.
Mrs. Hall read her bible faithfully and enjoyed telling people about her Jesus. She was a faithful member of Anchored in Jesus. She also enjoyed cooking meals and spending time with her family and friends. 2 Timothy 4 6-8; For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
Those left to cherish her memory are a son Thurmond (Vickie) Hall Jr. of Yadkinville; a daughter Brenda Russell of East Bend; five grandchildren Allen (Amy) Russell of East Bend, Jack (Kate) Hall of Winston Salem, Jamie Stanley of East Bend, Monica (Todd) Matthews, and Christy Cooper of King; and great-grandchildren Alex (Katie) Russell, Liam Hall, Ian Hall, and others.
A funeral service for Mrs. Hall will be held on Wednesday May 8, 2024 at 2:30pm at Huff Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Stone and Pastor Marty Reece officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Hermon Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1pm-2:30pm on Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
