Annie Yvonne Treece

Mrs. Yvonne Treece, age 83, of East Bend, passed away on Tuesday January 28, 2020 at her residence.

Mrs. Treece was born on February 27, 1936 in Stanly County to the late James Whitley and Kate Cagle Whitley.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her beloved husband William Treece, a son in law James Whitley, and a sister Evelyn Palmer.

Those left to cherish her memory are three sons Donald Treece of the home, Jimmy (Lynn) Treece of King, and Mike (Krista) Treece of Tobaccoville; one daughter Karen Whitley of Richfield; one brother Edward (Jeanette) Whitley of Salisbury; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one niece; and three nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday January 30, 2020 from 6pm-8pm at Huff Funeral Home.  A funeral service for Mrs. Treece will be held on Friday January 31, 2020 at 1pm at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle.  The family will also receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home one hour prior to the service.  Burial will follow in Canton Baptist Church Cemetery in Albemarle.
