Tommy Gene Lineberry, 69, passed away at his home. He was the husband of Sherry Lineberry. They shared 47 years and 8 months of marriage together.
Mr. Lineberry was born on July 4, 1950 in Forsyth County to the late James Lineberry and Margret Johnston Lineberry.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother James Lineberry.
He retired from suburban propane after working for more than 35 years. After his early retirement, he was employed with K&V Heating and Air Conditioning.
Tommy enjoyed playing golf, softball, bowling and fishing. But most of all, he loved to spend time with his family.
He will be remembered for his inquisitive nature, his kind hearted spirit and his love for everyone.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Sherry Lineberry of the home; one son Tommy (Michelle) Lineberry Jr. of Winston Salem; one brother Junior (Linda) Lineberry of Winston Salem; one brother-in-law Mark (Tara) Keaton of Yadkinville; one sister Judy (David) Smitherman of East Bend; one sister-in-law Patricia (Glenn) Flippin of East Bend; one half sister Eyvone Beane - Blossom of Indiana; two grandchildren Zach (Yani) Lineberry and Jenna Lineberry both of Winston Salem; and a mother-in-law that he loved dearly Delores Keaton.
A Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Lineberry will be held on Friday August 23, 2019 at 2pm at Huff Funeral Home with Pastor Leon Wishon officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trellis Supportive Care 101 Hospice Lane Winston Salem, NC 27103.
