Santos Pozo

Mr. Santos Pozo, age 88, of East Bend passed away on Friday November 9, 2018 at his home.

Mr. Pozo was born August 11, 1930 to the late Atilio and Antonia Estrada Pozo in El Salvador.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Pozo was preceded in death by his beloved wife Julia Pozo; two children Elsy Russell and Irno Y. Pozo; and grandchildren Damaris Lazo and Otoniel Lazo.

Those left to cherish his memory are two sons Jose Samuel Pozo and Daniel (Minerva) Pozo both of East Bend; five daughters Irma Pozo of East Bend, Rosa Surratt of Maryland, Martha (Miguel) Lozano of Winston Salem, Miriam (Emil) Rodriguez of East Bend, and Silvia (Benjamin) Moreno of East Bend; twenty four grandchildren Javier Pozo, Sam Pozo, Christopher Pozo, Michele Pozo, Alex Cruz, Nelson Cruz, Y. Lisseth Flores, Abigail Gonzalez, Mayra Pozo, Edgar Pozo, Jose Pozo, Michael Lozano, Bryan Lozano, Karen Lozano, Jovany Pozo, Edwin Pozo, Oscar Pozo, Oliver Pozo, Lesly Rodriguez, Josue Rodriguez, Kevin Pozo, Kaity Pozo, BJ Moreno, and Joey Moreno; and eighteen great-grandchildren Teresa Pozo, Yancy Pozo, Samantha Pozo, Jaxon Carter, Jacob Quintero, Caleb Pozo, Kaylee Pozo, Jason Quintero, Ashley Quintero, Natalie Gonzalez, Kaylie Gonzalez, Robert Pozo, Brandon Pozo, Andrew Pozo, Dylan Pozo, Austin Pozo, Ada Moreno, and Kaylyn Pozo.

A funeral service for Mr. Pozo will be held at 11 am on Monday, November 12, 2018 at Huff Funeral Home. Burial will follow at King Moravian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 11, 2018 from 1 to 3 pm at Huff Funeral Home.
