Roger Atkins Obituary

Roger Clinton Atkins, 76, passed away at home in Mt. Airy on March 4, 2018. He was born November 29, 1941. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elzevan and Bertie (Dollyhigh) Atkins; his brothers, Aubrey, Elbert, Herbert, Garnett; and his sister, Hattie Lou Davis. Roger is survived by his wife of 54 years, Norma Jean (Quesinberry) Atkins; his son, Rodney; and daughter, Tonya. He is also survived by his sister, Sally Key.

Roger was a veteran and part of the 82nd Airborne Division. He served in Korea. Roger worked for Roadway and retired after 35 years of service.
