Nellie K Adams

Mrs. Nellie Kiger Adams, age 88, of East Bend passed away on Friday October 25, 2019 at Clemmons Village II.

Mrs. Adams was born on July 6, 1931 in Yadkin County to the late Wiley Kiger and Minnie McBride Kiger.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, of 47 years, Thomas Adams Jr., and nine brothers and two sisters.

Those left to cherish her memory are three daughters Nancy (William Jr.) Shouse of Beufort, SC, Shirley (Albert) Reid of East Bend, and Kathy (Roger) Whisenhunt of East Bend; one brother Asbury "AG" Kiger of Arcadia; five grandchildren Chris Adams, Amy Whittington, William Shouse III, Adam Shouse, and Chloe Moore; nine great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Clemmons Village II and Mountain Valley Hospice.

A funeral service for Mrs. Adams will be held on Tuesday October 29, 2019 at 11am at Huff Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Enon Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 10am-11am on Tuesday prior to the service.
