Mrs. Mina Curry, 74, of East Bend, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at her home.

Mrs. Curry  was born on April 30, 1943 to the late William Arthur Haney, Sr. and Virginia Jean Jones Haney in Forsyth County.

In addition to her parents, she was preceeded in death by son Robert M. Langford, granddaughter Shannon Langford, and brother William Arthur Haney, Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of nineteen years Phil Curry of the home, two sons Chris G. Langford of Winston-Salem and Philip A. Langford of Alburn, IN, a step-son Phil Curry, Jr. of Sophia, NC,  a sister Barbara H. Caffin of Emerald Isle, NC, and five grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Curry will be held at 2 pm on Monday, October 2, 2017 at East Bend United Methodist Church with Rev. David Blankenberg officiating. The family will receive friends at Huff Funeral Home on Sunday, October 1, 2017 from 6 to 8 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Comprehensive Cancer of Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, 1 Medical Center Blvd, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
