Mr. Kent E. Norman, 88, of Pfafftown passed away on April 9, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center.
He was born on February 27, 1931 to Joice and Pansy Bowman Norman.
Mr. Norman served in the military and also liked to work at home on old cars and make windmills. He loved to go to fleamarkets.
Mr. Norman and his wife Dorothy Key, better known as Dot, owned and operated Eagle Beauty and Barber Shope for 30 years at Pfafftown.
Mr. Norman was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, one brother, his wife Dot, and step-mother Maude McCollum Norman.
He is survived by one daughter Amanda Sullivan and husband Van, one granddaughter Brianna Sullivan, one grandson Tyler Sullivan, two great-grandchildren, and special companion Hazel S. Lineberry and her loving family.
He loved to go to O'Henry's and loved the music and dancing. He attended Middle Cross Baptist Church for many years. He spent his last years in East Bend with Hazel. He will be greatly missed.
Funeral services for Mr. Norman will be at 2 pm on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Huff Funeral Home in East Bend. Burial will follow at New Home Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
