Jerry Whitaker Obituary

Mr. Jerry Lee Whitaker, age 66, of Mount Airy, passed away on Sunday September 1, 2019 at Northern Hospital of Surry County.

Mr. Whitaker was born on October 6, 1952 in Troy, NC to the late Jessie Whitaker and Lilly Smith Whitaker.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was also preceded in death by two sons James and Jeremiah Whitaker.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Bonnie Whitaker of Mount Airy; two sons Jerry Whitaker Jr. and Timothy Whitaker both of Albemarle; five daughters Amy (Michael) Imburgia of Mount Airy, Lynda Lambert of Albemarle, Samantha Fisher of Yadkinville, Amanda Whitaker of Yadkinville, and Stephanie Whitaker of State Road; Eighteen grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. The family would like express thanks to Hospice for their loving care.
