Howard Walter Floyd Jr., age 69, of Pfafftown went home to be with the Lord on February 21, 2019.
He was a lifelong resident of Pfafftown born on November 2, 1949. He was a loving husband, father, and family man. He retired from Winston Salem Southbound Railway after 38 years of service and was a volunteer fireman for Old Richmond Fire Department.
Mr Floyd was preceded in death by his mother Jeanette Worrell and father Howard Floyd Sr.; a brother Jimmy Floyd; and a sister Susan Gallimore.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 20 years Teresa Floyd of the home; only daughter Kathryn (Rodney) Hunt; a sister Robin Floyd; a grandson Christopher Clark; granddaughters Sharveace (Orlando) Cameron and Samantha Hunt; and one great grandson Omari Cameron.
A celebration of life service for Mr. Floyd will be held on Sunday February 24, 2019 at 3pm at huff Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Huff Funeral Home to help offset final expenses.
