Edgar Vernon Hutchens

Mr. Edgar Vernon Hutchens, 85, of East Bend, passed away on July 23 2018 at his home.

He was born on May 31, 1933 to the late John and Hester Hutchens in Forsyth County.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Hutchens was preceded in death by his wife Faye Adams Hutchens, brothers Fred and Otis Hutchens and sister Plumar Cann.

Those left to cherish his memory are: two sons Mark Hutchens of East Bend and David Hutchens and wife Becky of Lone Hickory; granddaughter Angel Webster; special son and daughter Robert and Sherry Waycaster; and nurse and special friend Carrie.

Funeral services for Mr. Hutchens will be held at 11am on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Huff Funeral Home Chapel with Mark Brown officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Huff Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Valley Hospice.
